Fairtrade market in Eltham

The borough’s first Fairtrade Market took place on Saturday 1 March. The indoor market was in the Eltham Centre, Archery Road, offering some unusual gifts and products whilst supporting the Fairtrade movement.

“I am delighted to support Fairtrade. Fairtrade puts justice and sustainable development at the heart of trade so that everyone, through their work, can maintain a decent and dignified livelihood and develop their full potential. I am very pleased that this market has been organised here in the new Eltham Centre.”

Clive goes pitch side to help present Middle park Community Centre with cheque from Charlton

Clive joined Lin Corbell from the Middle Park Community Centre and young people from the Estate as Steve Waggott, the Chief Executive of the Charlton Athletic Community Trust presneted the Centre with a cheque for eight thousand pounds.

The presenation took place at the Valley at half time of the Chalrton Ipswich match back in December.

Clive joins Chartlon Athletic players to open Demelza shop in Eltham High Street

Demelza, the Children’s hospice who are bulding a unit in Eltham, have opened a shop in Eltham High Street.

Clive was on hand to help with the ceremonies which took place on the night of Eltham Lights Up. Also on hand to help were Charlton Athletic stars Andy Reid and Lloyd Sam.
