Clive Efford MP

Clive Efford - A Strong Voice for Eltham and Plumstead

Back The Ban

Fox.jpg

Labour introduced the Hunting Act which banned fox hunting with dogs in 2004 .

David Cameron has promised his backbenchers a free vote to repeal this act and allow hunting once again.  He recently unsuccessfully tried to avoid a full debate by using Parliamentary procedure to water down the Act.

New polls show that 74 per cent of people believe fox hunting should remain illegal.  However, many Tories see this as unfinished business and will try again.

Please sign the petition below to signal you opposition to any changes in the Hunting Act.

I oppose any attempt to water down or repeal the Hunting Act 2008.

I think it’s cruel someone should want to torture an animal for sport and will forever.

How can torturing animals with other animals ever be considered as right? Drag hunting will still keep the animals busy without the killing at the end.

I do think that the introduction of baseline assessment at age 4 and 5 is more important to ban than fox hunting. However fox hunting gets thar headlines!

This ban is so important as not only does it stop barbaric cruelty against the foxes this will hopefully keep the cruelty that is inflicted on the hounds to a minimum by reducing the number breed and hopefully causing the kennels which breed and inflict cruelty on them to close

It’s not just foxes that suffer, the dogs are treated terribly too!

Not even Theressa May deserves the fate that these animals suffer!
