Labour introduced the Hunting Act which banned fox hunting with dogs in 2004 .
David Cameron has promised his backbenchers a free vote to repeal this act and allow hunting once again. He recently unsuccessfully tried to avoid a full debate by using Parliamentary procedure to water down the Act.
New polls show that 74 per cent of people believe fox hunting should remain illegal. However, many Tories see this as unfinished business and will try again.
Please sign the petition below to signal you opposition to any changes in the Hunting Act.
I oppose any attempt to water down or repeal the Hunting Act 2008.
