Residents in Horn Park were celebrating over the weekend as they finally got their bus. Clive have been working with residents from Horn Park for a long time to get a bus onto the Estate. The new B15 route was launched on Saturday and will provide a much-needed link from the Horn Park Estate to Eltham town centre. It will loop through the Estate and stop for a short time at the junction of Alnwick and Mottingham Lane before starting its return journey. Clive added “I know from the hundreds of people who have contacted me about this that the service will be extremely popular.”
Clive was also celebrating at the weekend the arrival of the new 132 Bus route which provides a central link between Eltham and North Greenwich. For more details of that story, click here.
Clive attended the official opening of the new swing park at New Eltham on Saturday with the Mayor of Greenwich Steve Offord.
The new park was funded through The Children Play Programme Big Lottery Fund.
“Greenwich Council must be congratulated in the way it continues to invest in children’s services in this way. W ned to continue to do all that we can to provide more facilities for young people,” said Clive.
Clive Efford attended the formal opening of the new practice on Dunvegan Road, and praised the innovative changes made. The building has housed a dental practice since 1971. Last July Dr Nasser Mushekhan took over and working closely with Greenwich Teaching Primary Care Trust has completed an extensive modernisation of the premises. The changes mean that the practice is now fully computerised along with an advanced digital X-Ray system, disabled friendly treatment rooms situated on the ground floor with disabled friendly treatment chair, longer opening hours (including Saturday mornings and late evenings) and family appointments available.
