Clive switches on the lights at Eltham Lights Up

Clive signals the start of the Festive season when he turns on the Christmas lights.

Clive joined hundreds of people for the annual Eltham Lights Up Christmas celebration when he and the Mayor of Greenwich Mick Hayes turned on the lights in Eltham High Street last night.

The event, celebrating its fifteenth anniversary,  was larger than ever featuring a colourful lantern parade with local school children and amazing floats from Emergency Exit Arts with characters like Alice and the Mad Hatter having a gigantic tea party.

"This event just gets better and better" says Clive. "It is a wonderful way to start Christmas and an important showcase for our town centre."
