Clive spoke at the second reading of the Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Bill. In a wide ranging speech Clive spoke about the need to make local government more reponsive to the needs and wishes of local communities.
Clive spoke in a debate on the Transport Select Committee's report into rail performance. He was strongly critical of the performance of Govia since they were awarded the Intergrated Kent Franchise running through Eltham and Plumstead. The poor service was in marked contrast to the imrovements made by South East Trains, a government-owned company than ran the franchise after it was taken away from Connex.
Clive recently took part in an inquiry organised by a group of cross-party backbenchers looking into special education needs. Clive outlined the changes needed to the system in a debate in Parliament.
