Creating Safer Neighbourhoods and tackling crime
Every ward now has its own Safer Neighbourhood Team. By the end of the year each one of these teams will be made up of at least six officers: one sergeant, two PCs and the PCSOs. Click on the link for details of your team.
Run by the Council, the Community Safety Unit works in partnership with the police and other organisations to help tackle crime and antisocial behaviour
Shadow CS is a fun, interactive website aimed at young people aged 11 – 18+ all about crime.
It allows young people to get involved in discussions about crime and the everyday things that affect them and gives them the option of seeking advice if they don’t know what to do.
An independent charity working to fight crime which allows you to pass on infomration anonymously.
