Demelza House children's hospice Demelza, the hospice care for children charity, is planning to build a new children's hospice in Eltham to serve children with life-limiting conditions and their families, subject to full approval by the Demelza board of Trustees.

The Eltham Society Formed in 1965, the Eltham Society now has nearly 600 members. As well as publishing pamphlets and books and holding lectures on the history of Eltham the society also keeps a watching brief on the physical environment of Eltham and considers ways in which it might be improved.

The New Eltham Residents Association Founded in 1930, the New Eltham Residents' Association is a non-political association that looks upon local issues with impartiality and non allegiance.
