Clive is delighted that David Cameron’s underhand attempt to use Parliamentary procedure to water down the hunting ban without a full debate in the House of Commons has failed.  He has warned however, that the Tories are bound to try again

Clive is a passionate supporter of the ban on hunting and has promised to oppose any moves to weaken or repeal the Hunting Act whenever a vote does take place.

Although the Tories were defeated this time, David Cameron promised in his election manifesto that he would give MPs a free vote on repealing the ban, so they will try again.

That is why Clive needs your help. Please sign his petition opposing any attempt to repeal or water down the ban.  This would make his job of keeping the ban much easier, knowing that so many of his constituents support the ban.  You can register your support by going to http://www.cliveefford.org.uk/backtheban.  Signing the petition will also allow Clive to keep you informed about this very serious issue.

Working together we will be successful in fighting to back the Ban.
