Clive Efford MP
Parliament Week: 14-20 November 2014
Parliament Week is a UK-wide programme of events and activities that inspire, engage and connect people with parliamentary democracy.
Parliament Week is supported by organisations from across the UK that have a connection with Parliament and democracy – from local museums to national charities. If your organisation has a story to tell about our democratic history, can play a part in inspiring people to take an active part today, or has a role in shaping our democracy in the future, find out more about how you can become a Parliament Week partner.
Clive has written to all secondary schools in the constituency and provided them with resources to get involved in Parliament Week.
Commenting on the initiative, Clive said: ‘Parliament Week is a great opportunity for organisations here in Eltham to engage their audiences or members in this national programme. There are many ways you can get involved – put on an event such as a debate, exhibition, or lecture or visit the Parliament Week website for more ideas. Become a Parliament Week partner and, along with over 260 other organisations, add your voice to this exciting project.’
