Clive explains: “I was really delighted to be present at the opening of this wonderful new hospital.  This hospital was commissioned and designed under the last Labour government and I have been lobbying local health chiefs and government ministers ever since to ensure that it was delivered so it was wonderful to finally see the vision become a reality. It has been several years in the making, but I am sure will now bring enormous benefits for local people, including:

• phlebotomy
• therapies
• podiatry
• children’s services
• minor procedures
• outpatient care
• support for people with long term conditions.
