Clive Efford MP
Today is Holocaust Memorial Day and this morning I attended a service held by Royal Borough of Greenwich Council remembering the victims of the Holocaust.
Last week I signed the Holocaust Educational Trust’s Book of Commitment in Parliament, in doing so I pledged my commitment to Holocaust Memorial Day and looked to honour those who were murdered during the Holocaust.
As the Holocaust moves from living history, to history, it becomes ever more important that we take the time to remember the six million Jewish victims and also pay tribute to the survivors. Our commitment to them must be that we will continue to fight antisemitism wherever it raises its ugly head.
