Yesterday I spoke in the debate on the Lammy Review into justice reform. The government has had three years to implement all of the recommendations outlined in this review, but they have failed to do this.
Over the last five years the percentage of black people being stopped and searched in the UK has rocketed. Stopping and searching people based on racial profiling erodes trust in the police and wastes resources – it must end.
